It was a cold winter morning when the legend came into town. Their spurs jingling and pockets full of gold. The town grew quite as the outlaws went into the saloon, the somber expressions on their faces told the townfolk the stories they never wanted to know. The stories of where they've been and the people whose lives they stolen. The six guns they wore told the stories that would be born into legends after they left. With life and soul on line never to be seen again.
This is the Legend of a Gun...
Coming from various cities in Oklahoma, Legend of a Gun was started with Jules Charlebois (lead guitar) and Bryce Moss (drummer) from Mustang, Oklahoma. Then Brian Francis of Mustang, Oklahoma (rhythm guitar/vocals) joined ranks and they Alex Frank from Bethany, Oklahoma (bassist). In the summer of 2007 Sam Cockrell of Lincoln County (lead & rhythm guitar/vocals) joined the nameless band. Then, two months later, Troy McNeely from Yukon, Oklahoma (Vocals) proved that he was the missing piece of the puzzle.
Then one cold brisk afternoon Legend of a Gun was hanging down in the legendary Cowtown cafe and was forced into a mad gunfight. Spinning their six-shooters wildly they noticed that two of their own had been shot and killed. Sadly Bryce Moss (drummer), and Alex Frank (bassist) were laid to rest and only their ghost would be apart of the Legend. So with long hard prayer and mighty Oklahoma winds a new dawn had arose. God answered a prayer and two lone rangers came trotting in and begged to be apart of the legend. Mike Cougill (drummer) and Todd Carder (bassist) were voted. Long live the South they sang unto the night of broken dreams...... Update..... Cougill was eatin by a catfish while fishing at Will Rogers park so we called up Tumbleweed Nick (drummer) from Robbers Cave and now we are at our finest.
With Southern Hard Rock that makes the devil tremble and the angels rejoice, Legend of a Gun is unlike anything you've ever loved before.
